Sometimes, the pace is insane. Everything flies by in a blur, there’s not a moment to stop and smell the flowers, and decisions and actions seem to be made by reflex, without a pause to think of the consequences. You race through each day, hand to mouth, and god knows why, because we all know what’s at the finish line.
Then, there are times when life slows down to a leisurely pace, and the minutes seem like minutes, the hours like hours, and everything is as it should be. You can mull over the big things, sweat the small things, and stop and smell the flowers (or whatever else you fancy sniffing).
I like those times.

Malaysian Bloggers have caused a ruckus once again thanks to this little gem of news.
I am just eager to see who gets carted off for doing this first. And to see what despicable tools of sedition the police cart off with them (previous arrests have seen the confiscation of monitors, keyboards and mice, because we all know how much data they store, right?).
I think the crux of the issue here is not one of disrespect for the country, for the flag, or for it’s people, but rather, it is meant to be a protest against the disrespect shown by certain people towards the country and it’s people, by those who should be managing them fairly and with honour (which I looked up, and has been removed from the Malaysian dictionary).
But hey, what do I know.
