Metallics.
Be still my heart.
My flesh can be, should be, will be,
No more.
For flesh can feel, can touch, can burn.
Replace me, translate me, make me anew.
A new head.
From copper, that shines though I’m sad.
A brain of wire that does not dream dreams of you.
Eyes of glass that do not see you when you’re not there.
A nose of brass that cannot smell the scents that remind me of you.
And me.
And us.
A new body.
Of chrome, that cannot tarnish from tears and tiredness.
A spine of iron, that will not bend to you.
Nerves of steel, that will not shatter.
Skin of titanium, so thick it cannot be pierced.
Or scarred.
Or feel.
A new heart.
Of stone, for gold has proven useless.
One that cannot bend when pressed.
One that cannot break when hurt.
One that cannot melt in the flames of passion.
Or wither in the embers of hate.
Or glow with love.
Make me anew.
As a machine.
Ever working, ever moving,
Never feeling, never moved.
And let me throw that switch
Which will
Still my heart.
For you. For me.
Poet? I don’t know it.

Dreams, Dreams
Of when we had just started things
Dreams of you and me
It seems, It seems
That I can’t shake those memories
I wonder if you have the same dreams too.
The littlest things that take me there
I know it sounds lame but its so true
I know its not right, but it seems unfair
That the things are reminding me of you
Sometimes I wish we could just pretend
Even if only for one weekend

Mere mortal, should feel, love, and live. Ask not to become a renewed being without unfurling emotion, as a life without love, pain, rage, makes our lives less than fulfilled. There will be no everlasting sorrow, nor there would be unceasing tears. Still the heart, but, just for a little while. While the past wilt, brace up as a stronger mortal and embrace the present.

Wow what should i say a poet written that’s full of emotions yet a little bit sad on the other side. The part that says making you a machine nah i dont think you’d ever like that cause that’s gonna make you robotic and boring will unlike the one we saw in the breakfast show. I must say that you, jonathan, xandria and daphne iking makes the show intresting and really good work keep it up hope you have a productive day at work will. good day
